Prof. Schonauer is an internationally recognized plastic surgeon with extensive experience in reconstructive and aesthetic surgery. He has held academic positions at the University of Naples since 2006 and worked in the UK at Queen Victoria Hospital, East Grinstead.
His training includes a PhD in Microsurgery and a Master in Breast Reconstructive Surgery. He has received multiple international awards, including the EURAPS Young Plastic Surgeon Scholarship, and holds the European Board Diploma in Plastic, Reconstructive and Aesthetic Surgery.
Prof. Schonauer is Associate Editor of Case Reports in Plastic Surgery and Hand Surgery and serves as reviewer for leading journals in plastic and reconstructive surgery.
