From the beginning of his career, he established collaborations with several countries and colleagues to expand his knowledge, with a particular focus on facial plastic surgery and rhinology.
He carried out numerous research visits to leading clinical hospitals and medical centers in Belgium, France, Great Britain, Germany, Spain, and the USA.
He attended most major national and international medical congresses and organized several national congresses with the participation of international guests.
He has been invited to lecture at many prestigious academic institutions worldwide.
In 1988, he became Assistant Professor in the ENT Department at the University of Verona. He was an elected member of the University Administration Board from 1998 to 2003 and a member of the Faculty of Medicine Council from 2003 to 2004.
He was a founding member and Vice President of the Italian Association of Facial Plastic Surgery. He has been a member of the European Academy of Facial Plastic Surgery (EAFPS) since 1992 and served as Guest Editor of three monographic issues of Facial Plastic Surgery between 1996 and 1999. He has participated in nearly all annual academy conferences with lectures or reports.
He has extensive expertise in healthcare management in Italy and abroad and obtained a Master in Health Management with honors from LUISS University in Rome in 2011.
He has personally performed more than 18,000 surgical procedures in the field of otolaryngology, with a particular focus on nasal surgery, including over 5,000 primary and secondary septorhinoplasties. He has developed and presented innovative techniques at international meetings in cities such as Paris, London, Cancun, Madrid, São Paulo, Barcelona, Thessaloniki, Copenhagen, New York, and Rio de Janeiro. He is particularly experienced in revision cases and nasal perforations.
Since 2010, he has been an Invited Professor at the Universitat Autònoma de Barcelona for cadaver dissection courses.
He regularly serves as a live surgery professor and lecturer at numerous national and international events.

He has published more than 150 articles in major national and international scientific journals, as well as several book chapters in the fields of facial plastic surgery and ENT.
Since 2004, he has been Head of the ENT Department, East Garda, Verona (25 staff members, including 5 physicians and 3 paramedical professionals), and is responsible for operating room activities at the main hospital, as well as for clinical activities in three smaller hospitals.
He is married to Cristina and has one daughter and one son.
